Wilderness Society Environment Award for Children's Literature  

On World Environment Day (5 June) Going Bush, by Nadia Wheatley and Ken Searle, was named the winner of the Wilderness Society Environmental Award for Children's Literature.
This award was established by The Wilderness Society in 1994 to promote a sense of caring and responsibility for the environment through quality Australian children's books.


Children's Book Council of Australia Shortlist announced!

The Children's Book Council of Australia announced its shortlist of titles on 1 April. We are thrilled to be able to say that the following Allen & Unwin books have been shortlisted for the 2008 Book of the Year awards:
