The Miles Franklin Literary Award 2015 shortlist

Allen & Unwin is absolutely delighted to announce that The Eye of the Sheep by Sofie Laguna and After Darkness by Christine Piper have both been shortlisted for this year's Miles Franklin Literary Award.

The Miles Franklin Literary Award is presented each year to a novel which is of the highest literary merit and presents Australian life in any of its phases. It is Australia's most prestigious literary prize and was set up through the will of Stella Miles Franklin, author of My Brilliant Career. The Miles Franklin was first awarded in 1957.

The winner of the Miles Franklin Literary Award 2015 will be revealed on Tuesday 23 June 2015.
