After completing a Bachelor of Economics in Sydney, Michael took the
unlikely step of becoming an advertising copywriter in London on a
whopping 25 pounds a week. To support his day job, he became a
babysitter for his niece and nephew, most of his sister's friends, and
most of their friends. Over time, Michael honed his skills in dealing
with tears, tantrums and projectile vomiting, which equally helped his
career in advertising. In 2006, Michael and his wife Sarah had their
first baby Angus and two years later, celebrated the arrival of Lilla.
Michael runs his own business and lives in Scone with his family, and
writes whenever he can.
