'OMG! I read the indigo girls by Penni Russon and absolutely loved it, even though I wish there were more pages to read, I so much enjoyed a book that is coming from views of normal teenage girls and involving issues that are so relevant to the life of a teen girl. I definitely think that the Girlfriend Fiction series is a great thing and I can't wait to read the other books in the Girlfriend Fiction series. The (Not Quite) Perfect Boyfriend (GF 5)

'I started reading this while my parents were watching the boring old news that night and I didn't put the book down until it was finished... and God knows what time that was... I had gone to reading the last two chapters with my ipod light because the rest of my family was asleep in bed and I wanted to keep reading... The next morning I got up and read Little Bird (Girlfriend Fiction #13) . Within a few hours it was finished. These two books were absolutley fantastic. I hold them above my obsession of Harry Potter, Twilight and Vampire Academy (which... is really really hard to do). I absolutely loved these books, they were really realistic, funny in parts, and you can imagine them being real. They were totally addictive and I can't wait until next time I can get back to Borders books, because I will definitely be buying the rest of the Girlfriend Fiction Series.' - Caitie

I have just finished this amazing book. I had started reading it about 4 months ago, but didn't get to finish as I started a new book. I found it last night and kept reading and was unable to put the book down. It is one of the "best" books I have ever read! - Charlotte

Bookmark Days (GF 9)

'An amazing read, a book i couldn't put down. I loved the way Avril stayed true to herself, despite her cousin and boys; there was a message in there for all us girls. There was so much detail, the characters seemed so real and in the end it was like a movie in my head and a book I never wanted to end! Recommended to every girl who loves a great Aussie, love story. Definently a ten out of ten!' - Sarah

'I really liked this. It touches on commonly 'girly' topics but not in the cliche way that's over the top and a bit sugar-coated. I actually read this all in one go. I was hooked.' - Sophie, 17

'A quick, easy read. I was impressed that it was written by a male, though having read other books by Scot Gardner, I shouldn't be surprised. It's realistic. I liked that while Avril joined the world of boys and dating she stayed true to herself and wasn't mislead by Katie.' - Samantha, 16

'My favourite of all because I loved the tale of a modern australian version of Romeo and Juliet...it was full of love, determination and standing up to family. The kiss and ending was PERFECT!!!' - Veronica

'10/10. It provided the perfect snapshot of a teenage girl's life and troubles and it wasn't shallow. ' - Keely
