Born and raised in Singapore, Kevin Kwan received a BFA in Media Studies from the University of Houston, before moving to New York to pursue a BFA in Photography at Parsons School of Design. In 1998, Kwan was invited to join M&Co, the legendary design firm founded by Tibor Kalman.
Since establishing Kevin Kwan Projects in 2000, Kwan has produced acclaimed visual books for Oprah Winfrey, Gore Vidal, Larry McMurtry, and Elizabeth Taylor, to name a few, and his clients include The New York Times, Rockwell Group, and TED.com
Kwan is the author of the art book I Was Cuba (Chronicle, 2007) and the co-author of the special sales hit Luck: The Essential Guide (Collins, 2008). He lives in Manhattan.
