2019 QLD Premier's Literary Awards shortlists

The shortlists for the 2019 QLD Premier’s Literary Awards have been announced and we are delighted to reveal that the following titles have been nominated:

The University of Queensland Fiction Book Award

Griffith University Children's Book Award
- The Slightly Alarming Tale of the Whispering Wars by Jaclyn Moriarty
- Chalk Boy by Margaret Wild and Mandy Ord

Griffith University Young Adult Book Award
- Lenny’s Book of Everything by Karen Foxlee
- Catching Teller Crow by Amebelin and Ezekiel Kwaymullina

The Courier-Mail People’s Choice Queensland Book of the Year Award
- Daughter of Bad Times by Rohan Wilson
- Charles Ulm by Rick Searle
