2019 Queensland Literary Awards winners

The winners for the 2019 Queensland Literary Awards have been announced and we are delighted to reveal that the following titles have won their categories!

Griffith University Children's Book Award
- The Slightly Alarming Tale of the Whispering Wars by Jaclyn Moriarty

Griffith University Young Adult Book Award
- Lenny’s Book of Everything by Karen Foxlee

In addition, 2018 Vogel Winner Emily O'Grady was awarded one of three Queensland Fellowships! 

The Queensland Literary Awards celebrate and promote outstanding Australian writers. The State Library of Queensland proudly manages the awards in collaboration with sponsors, industry partners and the writing community.
